We welcome David Clarke of Massey Ferguson (Coventry) to the League Landmarks table, who achieved his 104th appearance at a Birmingham & District Invitation Cross Country League race at the third round of fixtures this season.

David comments:

"After running last Saturday I've now completed 104 races, 97 for Massey Ferguson Running Club making my debut in 1983 and also running 7 times for Northbrook in the early 2000's.

Cross country is my favourite terrain and the competition each races brings is what makes my running so worthwhile. Over the years I've had some great rivalries both with teammates and runners from other clubs always sharing a well earned pint or two after the race. I'd like to take this opportunity to thanks all those people who have contributed in allowing me to get to this milestone, race organisers, marshals and of course the support team from Massey Runners and Northbrook."

This is the landmarks table after the third fixture of the 2015/16 season. Thank you to everyone who has submitted their Birmingham League race histories.

The current table showing the number of league races claimed as being completed by various athletes across the years is shown below. Some of the athletes are still competing and accruing races, some have retired and some, sadly, have died. This table is correct as at 25/01/2016.
