Scoring 6 Longevity (26/01/2014)

Following the "total number of league races completed" and the "father & sons" threads we have had this observation from Ian Keyte of Bromsgrove & Redditch A.C. who writes :

"I have been reading with interest your 'Landmarks' section (number of races and father & sons scoring) and it made me think about the above. Although I think others may easily have surpassed this I would like to inform you of my 'spread'. I first made the scoring 6 for Bromsgrove & Redditch on 1st November 1980 and managed to sneak in as last scorer at the last race at Wyken Croft on Jan 11th which gives me a spread of 33 years. I hope this might provoke other 'long-timers' to come forward!"

This leads us to some appeals -

  • What is the largest number of consecutive races that someone has 'counted' for their club?
  • What is the largest number of races that someone has 'counted' for their club?
  • What is the widest spread (from first time to most recent) that someone has been 'counted' for their club?
